&8220;For the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.&8221; (Romans 8:18)

If we suffered everyday of our life it still would not be worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.

We are continually comparing things in this life to see if we get our money&8217;s worth. I recall when I was a young lad, I picked cotton one day from sunup until sundown. I made $2.50.

At that time, the annual county fair was the biggest, most anticipated event in our county. I went to the fair that night with some of my family, and within about two hours, I had spent what I had worked hard for all day. I don&8217;t know that I got my money&8217;s worth.

Beloved, if you are a child of God, there is no comparison to this life and the life that is to come. &8220;For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.&8221; (Romans 8:18)

The earthly ground is cursed. &8220;Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.&8221; (Genesis 3:17)

The curse shall be no more. &8220;And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him.&8221; (Revelation 22:3)

Our earthly life and our heavenly life are not worthy to be compared.

&8220;And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death; neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.&8221; (Revelation 21:4)

In the life to come, Death is swallowed up in victory. &8220;So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.&8221; (1 Corinthians 15:54)

This life is no comparison so John could say: &8220;Even so, come, Lord Jesus.&8221; (Revelation 22:20)
