Mrs. Horton, who passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at a local nursing home, was born on November 21, 1925 in Calera, AL. She was a member of Summerhill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Horton.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (James) Willis, Sarah (William) Taylor, Janell (Jerry) Poe, Sammy (Marie) Horton; 10 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great, great grandchildren and a host of family and friends
