It has been a true privilege and a high honor for me to serve on your court of criminal appeals since 2001. I have an abiding respect for the law and the greatest admiration for everyone who works hard every day to make Alabama&8217;s court system a model for the rest of the country. I pledge to you that I will continue to be a fair, hard working and fiscally responsible judge.
