I have enjoyed serving as Shelby County&8217;s Probate Judge for the past 12 years. During that time, many positive changes have occurred. The judicial caseload has grown in size and complexity, due, in part, to a constitutional amendment granting the Probate Judge equity jurisdiction concurrent with the Circuit Court. In the Recording Department, our improved imaging system maintains and safeguards the county&8217;s public records and provides more convenient public access. In terms of elections, Shelby County now uses optical scan precinct counters to help insure the accuracy and security of our voter. I look forward to continuing the progress in these and other areas in partnership with the citizens of Shelby County
