Pelham pitcher Trish Zettler closed the All-Star Sports Week softball doubleheader Wednesday in Huntsville with one inning of work in the circle. After the South took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth, Zettler shut down the North in the fifth to split the series after losing game one 5-1 to the North.

Offensively Zettler had two plate appearances, going 0-for-1 with a walk, while Oak Mountain’s Frankie Mello was 0-for-2 on the night and one assist at third base.
