Kids become favorite book characters

During the grand finale of the Albert L. Scott Library’s “Get a clue” program, children of all ages jumped into character through face painting done by Carol Patton. A record-breaking 730 kids participated in the Alabaster library’s summer long events. Young readers also set a record for the month of June by checking out 7,591 books
