Amy Fineburg, the social studies department chair at Spain Park High School, planned a recent five-day conference to address high school psychology curricula. Held at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, expert presentations on psychology advances helped the 32 teachers from across the country update national standards and lesson plans for teaching the subject. The institute was funded by the American Psychology Association with additional help from the Teachers of Psychology in Secondary School
