Graveside service for Ray Stivers, age 89, of Columbiana, was at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Columbiana City Cemetery with the Rev. Grice officiating.

Mr. Stivers, who passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at a local nursing home, was born on Jan. 13, 1918 in Lawrenceville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Stivers.

He is survived by his children, Bill (Susan) Stivers and Tom (Susan) Stivers.
