Bonnie Rice of Brierfield was recently placed on the Dean’s List at the University of Alabama for outstanding academic achievement.

Rice had a 3.9 GPA last semester, and is majoring in cello performance. She is hoping to play with a symphony and go into teaching cello after graduation
