Kelvin and Alicia Benton welcomed their new son June 20, 2007, at 2:59 p.m. in Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

Jayden weighed 7 lb., 3 oz. and 21 and one-foruth inches long. His grandparents are Kelvin and Mary Ann Benton of Montevallo, Tina Harris of Jemison and Rodney Harris of Montevallo.
