George Earl Wooten, 52, of Goodwater passed away Sunday, Aug. 5 in Goodwater. Funeral services were held graveside on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at Shelby Memory Garden in Calera. Billy Roper was the presiding clergy. He is survived by his wife, Mary Wooten; his sons, Ernest Holbrook and Brandon Holbrook; his mother, Bobbie Ring; his sisters, Sheila (Tony) Birk, Linda (Don) Templeton and Janice Wooten; his brothers, Butch Wooten and Bo Wooten; his grandchildren, Tyler Jennings, Caleb Holbrook, Kayten Holbrook and Catelyn Holbrook.
