Air Force Airman 1st Class Andre L. McKinney has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

During the six weeks of training, he performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, and special training in human relations.

He is the son of Bridget McKinney of Sunset Drive, and grandson of Bonnie Threatt, both of Harpersville.

McKinney is a 2003 graduate of Vincent High School
