Long time University of Alabama football announcer Eli Gold will be at the Colonial Promenade Books-A-Million in Alabaster Monday evening from 7-9 to sign his new book, Bears Boys. A second Birmingham-area signing will be held Aug. 30 at Milestone Books from 5-7 p.m.

The book shares stories by former Alabama starts from Super Bowl standouts such as Bob Baumbower and Paul Crane; multi-million dollar businessmen such as Mike Hall and standout coaches such as Ozzie Newsome and Ray Perkins, Bears Boys is a fraternity of thirty-six players and coaches who knew him intimately and have the best of stories to tell
