The reigning Gulf South Conference men’s soccer Player of the Year is making a case for back-to-back honors as Jonathan Maloney earned his fifth career GSC Player of the Week award with two strong performances over the weekend.

The University of Montevallo forward from West Yorkshire, England had a part of four of the Falcons’ five goals against then-No. 9 Rollins on Friday, netting two and assisting on two more. He notched an assist and a goal within a span of three minutes in the second half. Against Florida Southern on Sunday, Maloney was at it again, finding the back of the net once and finding a teammate again as UM blanked the Moccasins, 3-0
