Justin and Brooke Connell announce the birth of their daughter, Kaydence Carter Connell. Kaydence was born April 18, 2008, at Brookwood Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.

Kaydence is the granddaughter of Wayne and Darlene Pate of Columbiana and Penny and the Late Willis Connell of Shelby.

Kaydence is the great-granddaughter of Ann Boyle and the late Raymond Boyle, Terrell and Sybil Smith, all of Columbiana, Margaret Connell and the late Carl Connell of Shelby.

Kaydence was welcomed home by her aunt, Candice Pate, and a host of family and friends
