James Edward Lynn Sr., age 76, passed away at his residence Aug. 19, 2007. There was visitation Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, from 5-8 p.m. Service was held at 11 a.m. in Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, with the Rev. Zane Smith officiating. Burial took place at the Harpersville Cemetery.

James is survived by his sons, James Edward Lynn Jr. of Vincent, Rick (Linda) Lynn of Montana and Sam (Tammy) Lynn of Sterrett; his sister, Jetta Brock of Adamsville; his grandchildren, Amanda Lynn, Sam B. Lynn, Blake Abbott and Krystal Abbott Mims; and his great-grandchildren, Taylor Lynn and Brayden Abbott.
