Nellie Faye Pennington, age 78, passed away on Friday, Sept. 14 2007, in Alabaster. Funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. in the Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. Interment will take place at the Helena City Cemetery.

Nellie is survived by her children, Ricky (Connie) Pennington, Ronnie (Patty) Pennington and Jerry (Pam) Pennington; her sister, Gracie (Buddy) Hamrick; brother, Jimmy Simmons; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews
