Funeral service for Johnnie Faye Whitfield, age 80, of Columbiana, was 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial followed at Columbiana City Cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Whitfield, who passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at a local hospital, was born June 10, 1927, in Columbiana. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Whitfield.

She is survived by her children, Glenda (Stanley) Davis, and Greg (Paula) Whitfield; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
