Leah Michele White and Chester Wayne Harris were united in marriage on July 21, 2007, in a double ring ceremony at Sandals Resort in Negril, Jamaica, with the Rev. Joseph Campbell officiating. Immediate family attended the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Janet White of Cullman.

The groom is the son of Ann Hunter and John Harris, both of Chelsea.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length ivory gown with a double layer of taffeta over silk. Sequins adorned the straps and defined the waist. She carried a bouquet of fresh white and yellow daisies accented with baby’s breath with the stems wrapped in white satin ribbon.

The reception was held Aug. 5 at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Following a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Cullman
