Griffith enters Army on Delayed Entry

Jomecia S. Griffith has joined the United States Army under the Delayed Entry Program. The program gives young men and women the opportunity to delay entering active duty for up to one year.

After completion of basic military training, Griffith will receive advanced individual training in her career job specialty prior to being assigned to her first permanent duty station.

Griffith enlisted for five years and will report to Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Mo., to complete basic military training in July 2008.

She is the daughter of Cynthia R. Lacey of Pelham
