Funeral service for Thomas Richard Rary, age 77, of Wilsonville, will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Wilsonville Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Gadsden. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Rary, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16 at a local hospital, was born May 30, 1930, in Salisbury, N.C. He was an International Representative for the union until he retired.

Mr. Rary is preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lullene Rary; children, Richard (Cheryl) Rary, Jr. and Danny (Carron) Rary; grandchildren, Hannah and Shane Rary of Wilsonville, Tom (Emily) Rary of Valdosta, Ga. and Tami Sullivan of Mobile; great-grandchildren, Cathlyn Cole, Michael, Chris and Nick Helms, Elisa, Robert, Emma and Liam Rary; brother, W.F. Rary of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
