Margie C. Nobles, age 77, of Alabaster, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born Tuesday, July 22, 1930, in Chilton County, daughter of the late John Ellis Day and Lillie Marchant Day.
She was a farmer.
Surviving her are her husband, Mr. James E. Nobles of Coopers; three sons, Mr. James L. (Tammy) Burnette of Calera, Mr. Roger Dale Burnette of Coopers and Mr. Gene (Debbie) Burnette of Verbena; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine (Charles) Atchison of Calera and Mrs. Linda (the late Jimmy) Whitman of Georgia; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Northcutt of Jemison and Mrs. Mildred (Pat) Markovitz of Clanton.
Friends were received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Services were held at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willard Scott officiating. Interment followed at Coosa River Cemetery in Deatsville. Martin Funeral Home directed services
