CALERA – Five U.S. Army helicopters visited the Shelby County Airport last Thursday on their way to an air show in Fort Worth, Texas.

Part of the Army’s “Sky Soldiers” flight team, the Bell AHF-1F helicopters stopped to refuel before continuing to Texas. Major Dave Stark, who is friends with several airport staff members, arranged the visit.
