Mr. Turner, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at his home, was born Aug. 17, 1970, in Shelby County. Tim is rejoicing in heaven and singing in the heavenly choir. He will be remembered by everyone who met him and was touched by his special humor and love. He was a special God-given Treasure and our loss is Heaven’s Gain.

He is preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Clara Bearden Brasher, and grandfather, Floyd Rufus Turner, and one uncle, Anthony Curtis Turner.

He is survived by his parents, Floyd and Katherine Turner; grandmother, Eunice Simmons Turner; grandparents, Richard and Gloria Brasher; aunts, Teresia Kendrick, Brenda Sears and Jackie Brasher; uncles, David Brasher, Michael Brasher and Charles Turner.

Thanks to the special people in Tim’s life; Sarah Weldon, Randy Britt, Paula Watkins and Laura Brasher, who took time to visit and talk on the phone with him, and to Randy who played “Santa” every year. You all hold a special place in our hearts. His “hero,” David Cockerham; our “special angels,” Aunt Brenda, Aunt Teresia; great aunts, Ruth Land, Mary Garrison, Katie Hodges and Doris Tibbs.

Many thanks to family and friends who stayed with us, gave us comfort and the wonderful people at AlaCare Hospice.
