Dessie C. “D.C.” Smitherman, of Randolph, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2005. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Curt Smith and William Kee at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph. Interment will take place at Shady Grove Cemetery.
