The first Shelby County 4-H pet show was held at Orr Park in Montevallo.

Members of the county’s 4-H program and the public participated in the show as well as face painting, pet photos and games and a demonstration by Darrell’s Canine Training.

The 4-H Best in Show were: Emily Conklin with her dog, Cisco; Thompson Fuller with his cat, Butterscotch; Stephanie Shakelford with her chicken, J-Lo; Danielle Warren with her bunny, Funny Bunny; and Colton Jones with his miniature goat, Roxanne.

Each of the Best of Show winners received a $50 savings bond from Regions Bank
