Riverchase Middle School presented team awards Thursday, Nov. 8 at its annual football banquet.

Receiving awards for the eighth grade team were: DJ Johnson, MVP; Wes Bentley, Best Offensive Lineman; Alando McDonald, Best Offensive Player; Hunter Soleymani, Best Defensive Lineman; Ty Pierce, Best Defensive Player; J.T. Ross, Academic Award; Tyler Millsap and Gray Cato, Lifetime Captains; Douglas Ledlow, Hustle Award.

Receiving awards for the seventh grade team were: Sam Adams, MVP; Dustin Clements, Best Offensive Lineman; Eli Beall, Best Offensive Player and All-Time Team Captain; Chisom Murauko, Best Defensive Lineman; Sam Adams, Best Defensive Player and All-Time Team Captain; Fletcher Johnson, Academic Award and Hustle Award.

Eight Riverchase players were named to the All-Metro South Team, including seventh graders Antonio London, Kenny Meadows, Adams and Beall, and eighth graders Reed Walker, Soleymani, Pierce and McDonald.
