PYHL completes fourth week on ice

PELHAM – The past two weeks have been short weeks for the Pelham Youth Hockey League with the PeeWee/ Bantam division seeing the most action.

-Sharks 4, Penguins 3: The Sharks squeezed by the Pens with the help of two goals from Chandler Diercks. Michael Kerr added a goal and set up another, while Jackson Reagan also found the net. Michael Bonner and Ryan Carney both had single assists in the win.

The Pens got a hat-trick from Braden Pichel, with solo assists from Braeden Everton, Grayson McCreary and Christopher Strong.

-Flyers 12, Leafs 8: The Flyers skated past the Leafs with the help of Ryan Kalson’s six goals and one assist.

Luke Godber added two goals and two assists, while Jakob Hornsby picked up his game scoring one goal and set up three others. Riley Williams, fresh off his fall football season, scored two goals in his first PYHL game of the season. Adam Kalson also had a goal.

Anthony Feria had two assists in the win, while Collin Stickley also found the score sheet with an assist.

Jacob Taggart led the scoring with two goals and assisting two others. Timmy Kennedy scored two goals and added an assist, while Jonathan Stockton scored twice. Sean Glavin also had two goals in one shift to help the Leafs’ cause, while Chris Price had three helpers and Ian Kirkpatrick had two.

-Penguins 5, Hawks 1: In week four, the Penguins skated past the Hawks, 5 – 1, in the only PeeWee/Bantam action of the week. Braden Pichel continued his slippery ways scoring four goals, including a hat-trick in the first period.

Connor Timbrook scored the Penguins’ other goal. Christopher Strong and Michael Warsaw both had two assists in the win, while Ryan Kellogg finished the game with one assist.

The Hawks’ lone goal was scored by Matt Sheets off an assist from Brandt Kernop.

-Bruins 5, Rangers 4: The second game of week four was the only Junior Mites game of the week, as the Bruins edge out the Rangers. The Bruins got a hat-trick from Parker Brown and one goal and one assist from Zachary Doonan. Cameron McCarthy also scored. Tannor Dowds, Frannette Fernandez and Luke Tulloch all had one assist.

Logan Weber found the net four times for the Rangers. Caleb Everton had two assists in the game, while Preston Brown and Levi Rosser each had one
