Taurus Dortch led five Falcon double figure scorers with 19 points to lead the University of Montevallo to an 87-80 victory at Christian Brothers University Tuesday.

Terrill Humphrey scored 14 points, including four 3-point baskets. Shon Caston added 13 points, while Anthony Brown and Jonathon Hewitt scored 12 points each.

Brown also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.

Kevin Weybright led CBU (4-3) with 29 points and five 3-point baskets.

With the game tied at 67-67 with seven minutes remaining, UM put together an 11-0 run over the next three and a half minutes to pull away. UM led by eight with a minute remaining, when Weybright sank a 3-point basket to trim the lead to five (82-77) but CBU would get no closer.

UM (4-3) hosts Cumberland University for a non-conference game Friday at 7:30 p.m
