The Calera youth wrestling team finished eighth out of more than 30 teams at the Prattville tournament Dec. 1. Calera competed with just 12 wrestlers, with only three having previous wrestling experience. There to support the team were members of the American Legion Post 133 and American Legion Riders Post 133, which helped raise $1,100 for the youth program. Those attending the presentation were Joe Hines, Rex Fundberry, Aaron Wilcox and Shanna Wilcox. It is the first year for Calera wrestling.
