Vandiver

Charles Calvin “Chuck” Brasher, 75, of Vandiver went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Joan Brasher; his daughters, Connie Wright (William) and Cathy Hill (Mike); sons, Randy Brasher and Lee Brasher (Ellen); his grandchildren, Angie, Crystal, Jason, Jennifer, Kenny, Jeremy, Michael, Jonathon, Julie and Nichole; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He had served our country in the United States Air Force. He was an active member of Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m., at Union Hill Free Baptist Church in Vandiver. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 22 from 6-9 p.m., at the church.
