Memorial service for Timothy Majors, age 48, of Columbiana, was

10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Shelby. An 11 a.m. graveside service followed at at Old Shelby Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Brasher, the Rev. Rick Cooper and the Rev. Scott Cosper officiating.

Mr. Majors, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at a local hospital, was born Dec. 25, 1959, in Birmingham. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelby, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Willard and Mary Rogers Majors, a brother, Donnie Majors and a sister, Donna Majors English.

He is survived by his son, James Willard (Caleigh) Majors of Jemison; daughter, Margie Drucilla Majors; grandson, Luke Majors; brother, Randy (Peggy) Majors; sisters, Debbie (Chris) Little, Brenda (Steve) Davis, Carol (Ricky) Martin; 11 nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Carol B. Majors and a host of other family and friends.
