Jacob Taggart and Trevor Hightower lead the list of Pelham Youth Hockey Players of the Month for December. Taggart scored 13 goals and added an assist in December to help the PeeWee/Bantam Maple Leafs to a 4-3-1 record overall. Hightower scored seven times and added two assists for Pelham (2-1-3) in the high school division. The Penguins’ Drew Butler was named Player of the Month for the Squirts division after collecting three goals and two assists, while Wade Kolzer received the honor in the Mites division with one assist for the first-place Flyers (6-0).
