Mr. James Clifton Brooks, age 77, a resident of Millbrook passed away Jan. 6, 2008, at a local hospital. A private memorial service will be held.

Mr. Brooks was retired from the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include wife of 54 years, Sue Brooks of Millbrook; sons, Michael Brooks of Prattville and John Brooks of Millbrook; sisters, Dorothy (Roy) Knighton of Birmingham, Martha (Hilry) King of Columbiana, Kay (David) Keenum of Tuscaloosa and Ann (Ernest) Brown of Tuscaloosa; brothers, Tom (Kathleen) Brooks of Huntsville and Jerry (Carolyn) Brooks of Austin, Texas; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Prattmont Baptist Church in Prattville.
