Susan Poling, technology coordinator for Shelby County schools, has been awarded the Alabama Education Technology Association Sally Moore Award.

The award is presented by the technology association annually to a member who demonstrates a long-term dedication to promoting technology.

The award is named after Moore, who was a technology coordinator in Cullman before her death in 2001
