Auburn

Jennifer Inez Jones, born Nov. 4, 1971, age 36, died Jan. 25, 2008, at an area health care facility in Auburn. Mrs. Jones was a native of Jackson, a resident of Auburn and former resident of Pine Hill. She was a retired director of Ave Child Development Center in Columbia, S.C.

Her father, Marvin Dennis Paul, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Dumas of Grove Hill; husband, Kevin Jones of Auburn; daughter, Kylie Jones of Auburn; brothers, Teddy Paul of Grove Hill and Will Sheffield of Stephensville, Texas; sisters, Christine Day of Akron and Lori Garris of Leroy.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill.

Interment was at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Fletcher Overstreet Jr., Philip Day, Brad Garris, Bradley Paul, Kenneth Jones and Jeff Jones.
