Funeral service for Ruth Sorrow, 72, of Brierfield was at

1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation was Sunday, Feb. 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sorrow, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, was born on June 16, 1935 in Camden, S.C. She was a longtime resident of Brierfield.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Oliver Sorrow, Sr. “Hop” and her son, James Lee Sorrow.

She is survived by her children, Clarence (Faye) Sorrow, Elaine (Johnny) Cochran; grandchildren, Angela (Che) Russell, Chelle (Keith) Baker; seven great-grandchildren; her brothers, sisters and a host of other family and friends.

Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directed
