Funeral service for Kim Hughes, 40, of Columbiana, was at

2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial followed at Summerhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hughes, who passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at a local hospital, was born Oct. 9, 1967, in Alabaster.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Hughes; daughter, Summer Hughes; sons, Austin Blake Hughes and Tommy Bryant; grandchildren, Ethan, Eian and Isabella Bryant; parents, James and Shirley Vanderslice; grandmother, Minnie May Howard; brother, Timothy Vanderslice; sisters, Amanda Falkner, Angie Moore and Candi Vanderslice; and a host of other family and friends.
