Funeral service for Ruby Carden, age 67, of Columbiana, was

at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Chapple officiating. Burial followed at Old Shelby Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Ms. Carden, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at a local hospital, was born March 6, 1940, in Shelby.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Sallie Carden; seven brothers and sisters; and a special nephew, Channon White.

She is survived by her sisters, Helen (Morris) Bush, Patricia (O’Neal) White; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
