If time is money, then the Shelby County Greater Chamber of Commerce wants to help you get every penny.

The Shelby County Commission recently proclaimed this week as Shelby County Technology Week.

To help highlight the importance of technology in the workplace, the chamber is bringing a Microsoft demonstration truck to the North Shelby Library on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“It’s important to just keep up with technology, to improve business and stay up-to-date,” said Jennifer Trammel, chamber president. “People need to see what’s out there and what’s available for their business.”

The Microsoft truck will be decked out with the company’s latest software, including different applications and operating systems. The free event is open to the public.
