Mr. and Mrs. James B. Rose of Birmingham announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Virginia Laine to Christopher Scott Fielding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy W. Fielding of Cordova.

Miss Rose is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. William W. Rayfield of Harpersville and Mrs. Elzine Blanchard Rose and the late Mr. Willard P. Rose of Shelby, Miss.

Ginger is a graduate of The University of North Alabama and The University of Alabama.

Mr. Fielding is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fielding of Cordova and Mr. and Mrs. Jose Antonio Alcala-Ruiz of Puerto Rico.
