NeighborWorks America recently awarded $22,5000 in grants to Neighborhood Housing Sevices of Birmingham.

NHSB is one of more than 240 community development organizations that makes up NeighborWorks. They provide a public/private partnership between residents, local governments, businesses, financial institutions, faith-based entities and other social and human service agencies.

While currently serving the Birmingham area, NHSB will soon be working in St. Clair, Talladega and Shelby counties
