Funeral service for Marie Gothard Tucker, age 72, of Calera, was held Wednesday March 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Rockco’s Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. The Rev. Bud Alexander officiated. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Garden in Calera. Visitation was held Tuesday, March 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Tucker passed away in her home March 10, 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Kelly of Helena; son, Richard Tucker Sr. of Calera; brother, Troy Gothard of Prattville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
