– Alabama’s girls’ and boys’ teams swept Mississippi in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star basketball games Thursday at the Pelham Civic Complex.

Both games came down to the wire, as Hoover’s Lyndsay Harris helped lead the girls and Auburn signee Frankie Sullivan lead the boys.

Harris, who was named Alabama’s MVP, hit two 3-point baskets in the final 30 seconds of regulation to send the game into overtime and then added two more to lead the Alabama girls past Mississippi, 89-86. She finished with 18 points.

Sullivan was named the MVP for the Alabama boys after hitting free throws down the stretch and finishing with 27 points to help Alabama to a 101-99 win.
