Leigh Ann Corvin of the Shelby Iron Chapter No. 2653 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy recently received a certificate for having relatives who found with the Confederacy during the Civil War. Sharon Woods, chapter president, presented the certificate.

Corvin became a daughter on the service record of her great-great grandfather, Andrew Lafayette McWilliams, Company G, 43rd Regiment, Georgia Infantry. She also already identified four additional family members who fought for the CSA.
