Joey Paulin celebrated his fourth birthday April 12. Joey was born with a rare and terminal illness called Mitochondrial Encephalomyopathy.

Despite all he has been through in just four years, Joey always has a smile on his face. Joey also has a special place in his heart for the Alabaster Fire Department, who came to his home to help him celebrate his birthday
