Matthew C. Chambers has joined the United States Army under the Delayed

Entry Program.

The recruit, a prior-service member, enlisted for three years and will report this month for active duty at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.

He is the son of Patty S. Nickell of Harpersville and Michael C. Chambers of Prue, Okla
