Robin Renee Smitherman, age 37, of Columbiana, passed away ,Monday, April 7, 2008 in Jefferson County.

A memorial service was held Saturday, April 12 at Radney-Smith Chapel. The Rev. Tim Trimble officiated.

Ms. Smitherman was born Dec. 7, 1970.

She is survived by her parents, Douglas and Carolyn Smitherman of Alabaster; sisters, Lisa Watson of Columbiana, Susie Smitherman of Weogufka, and Ryan Lynn Smitherman of Alabaster; Destiny Watson; brothers, James Caroll Ward of Jemison and James Matthew Smitherman of St. Paul, Va.; and grandparents, Albert and Fannie Cox of Alabaster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Robin Renee Smitherman Memorial Fund at M& Bank in Columbiana.
