Thompson High School will be well represented in the North-South All-Star baseball game July 14 in Huntsville.

Head coach Pat Hamrick will be one of the coaches for the North and will bring with him infielder Trent Lucas and outfielder Jordan Chism. Briarwood first baseman Ben Bracewell is also on the team.

Two softball players were named to the South team, as Pelham’s Hailey Glynn was selected as an outfielder and Oak Mountain’s ace Louise Gibson was named one of four pitchers.

The all-junior rosters for the North-South All-Star baseball and softball doubleheaders were selected by the Alabama High School Athletics Directors and Coaches Association.

Baseball will play a doubleheader at Joe Davis Stadium beginning at 4 p.m. on July 14, while softball will begin its doubleheader at 6 p.m. at the Metro Kiwanis Sportsplex on July 16.
