Ronny and Kim Gates of Harpersville are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Amanda Gates to Matthew Brian Everhart of New Brockton. The couple will share words of commitment during a wedding ceremony June 7 at Vincent Revival Center.

The bride, Amanda Gates, graduated form Vincent High School. She currently attends Central Alabama Community College, from which she plans to go on to graduate from Faulkner University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

The groom, Matthew Everhart, is currently studying at the Berean School of the Bible to receive his credentials to be a pastor. He is currently the youth pastor at Vincent Revival Center
